are there people that have rented a car by alma tours(alma rent a car)? how good (or bad) was the car and the service?

Alma are an international company so I guess they are OK as I have never rented a car on Crete then I can not personally comment, however on the mainland of Greece I found them OK. That was a few years ago. You can find out more about Alma on Crete here :http://www.almatours.gr/ Hope this helps

Hi there, I have not hired a car as yet myself, but 2008 i was thinking of it, got info from Kerstin on here, she recommends Eagle car hire in Elounda, she says to me they will beat any quote from any firm, she uses them, if you search for "car hire" you should come up with the message she wrote to me. Think its page 18 or so. lorraine

I have used Eagle Cars and Olous Travel and haven't had any problems with either, prices are about the same.
